This is an interesting time…

…With interesting ways for people to kill every second of what could be VERY interesting time.  Since when did we start trading phone calls, penpals, and lunch dates for MySpace, Twitter, FaceBook, Tumblr, and every other “instant-gratification-look-how-much-cooler-I-am-than-you-I-don’t-want-any-kind-of-replies-that-I-have-to-answer-Eweb-iChat-eee-i-oh-app”?  Sharp tongues and slick looks make or break you in this modern world.  The best part about living online is that you easily hide the dull wit and rough appearance simply by recycling something you think is clever and taking a photoshop tutorial on “You-pleasegodentertainme-Tube”.  When’s the last time you went to the circus?  How long has it been since you’ve seen your cousin?  Do you ever fill up your gas tank just to go drive around for a few hours?  I used to dress up in a blue polo shirt and go to Meijer.  Any question a customer had for the guy they were mistaking for an employee, I’d answer to the best of my knowledge.  It’s kind of like taking a test that you never can really lose.  Stop reading this, get off your booty, and shake your tail feather to anywhere.  I just checked my RSS feed from weather.com, and it looks really nice outside.
